Ryan Berry rallies the troops.
FARGO, N.D. - Record-setting quarterback Ryan Berry came back after he was hurt early in the game to rally South Dakota State over North Dakota State 25-24 on a late touchdown drive.
Ryan Berry threw a 1-yard touchdown pass to JaRon Harris to pull the Jacks within 24-23 with 2:20 left. Berry followed up with a pass to Mike Steffen for the two-point conversion.
Ryan Berry was knocked out of the game late in the first quarter with an apparent concussion. He came back with about 10 minutes left in the fourth quarter.
Conrad Kjerstad sealed the game for SDSU by intercepting a pass by Nick Mertens. Nick Mertens ran for one touchdown and passed for another for NDSU.
The Jackrabbits led 9-7 at half.
