An extremely good effort from Kosuke Sano who holds Yamasho scoreless until the 9th.

2008 90th Annual Koshien Japanese High School Baseball Tournament DVD. Kanazawa vs. Kiryu Daiichi. Sakurai vs Tanaka. Kanazawa is too much for Kiryu and moves tot he next round 6-1. Sakurai goes 4 1/3IP 5H 1K 0BB 1ER. Tanaka is 5IP 3H 4K 4BB 3ER. Ishino goes 2 for 3, Motoi goes 2 for 3. There is a great leaping catch in this one as well.

2008 90th Annual Koshien Japanese High School Baseball Tournament DVD. Koryo vs. Kochi. Nakata vs Matsui. The Koryo bats are too powerful for Kochi. Nakata isn't at his best, but enough to get by. Nakata goes 6IP 8H 7K 5BB 3ER in the win but will have to be a litte more sharp in the next round. Kamimoto goes 4 for 5 with two RBIs. Nakata has 3 RBIs helping his own cause.

2008 90th Annual Koshien Japanese High School Baseball Tournament DVD. Yokohama vs. Urawa Gakuin. Tsuchiya vs Mori. Highly touted lefty Tsuchiya puts tons of people on base but gets away at the end with a win as his line up helps out. Tsuchiya ends up pitching a complete game going 9IP 14H 5K 2BB 4ER in an unimpressive but steady performance.

2008 90th Annual Koshien Japanese High School Baseball Tournament DVD. Sendai Ikuei vs. Komono. Hozumi vs Nishi. Nishi gets overwhelmed by the Ikuei bats and Komono goes down 4-1. Hozumi goes 6 2/3IP 7H 3K 3BB 0ER and picks up the win. Nishi goes the distance in the loss 9IP 13H 4K 3BB 4ER.
