NFL Draft DVD 2015
ROUND ONE
1 (1) Tampa Bay Jameis Winston
Jameis WinstonQB Height: 6-4 Weight: 231 School: Florida State Pre-draft Rank: 2
It has been clear since February, when Lovie Smith signed off on Winstonfs character at the NFL scouting combine, that the Buccaneers - so starved at QB for years - were heading this direction. Winston is a flawed, competitive and fearless passer who could be a star (if he builds on his 2013 performance) or, just as easily, a bust (if he plays like he did most of last season).
2 (2) Tennessee Marcus Mariota
Marcus MariotaQB Height: 6-4 Weight: 222 School: Oregon Pre-draft Rank: 1
With reports of the Eagles willing to send half of eastern Pennsylvania to the rudderless Titans, they instead stand pat and select the very charismatic, smart, athletic Mariota, who could be a star if Tennessee is willing to adopt some spread-offense elements to its pro-style offense. Fascinating, to say the least, that the Titans didnft accept the Eaglesf reported monster of an offer for the pick.
3 (3) Jacksonville Dante Fowler Jr.
Dante Fowler Jr.OLB Height: 6-3 Weight: 261 School: Florida Pre-draft Rank: 23
Despite talk that the Jaguars loved Amari Cooper, they decided to go with Fowler, the high-energy rush end who will fit Gus Bradleyfs gLeoh rush role and help bring more steam to get after the Andrew Lucks of the world. The Jaguars love Fowlerfs energy and charisma, and hefll help bring an identity to this team. Scouts say he might have as much upside as any defender in this draft as a pass rusher off the edge.
4 (4) Oakland Amari Cooper
Amari CooperWR Height: 6-1 Weight: 211 School: Alabama Pre-draft Rank: 5
Raiders GM aggressively sought Packers receiver Randall Cobb this offseason, and he gets a great alternative in Cooper, who fits the mold of a chess piece and terrific No. 1 receiver for budding QB Derek Carr. Cooper can run every route, can play every receiver position and - despite a lack of elite speed - can take the tops off defenses. Hefs the best wideout theyfve had in years, maybe since Tim Brown.
5 (5) Washington Brandon Scherff
Brandon ScherffOG Height: 6-5 Weight: 319 School: Iowa Pre-draft Rank: 11
The Redskins pulled a shocker with Scherff, a big tackle from Iowa. Some have thought he might end up at guard, but it's likely the Redskins picked him as their left tackle of the future.
6 (6) NY Jets Leonard Williams
Leonard WilliamsDE Height: 6-5 Weight: 302 School: USC Pre-draft Rank: 6
At No. 6 the Jets took the player many thought was the best prospect in the draft with Williams. He has the ability to control the middle as a powerful 3-4 end.
7 (7) Chicago Kevin White
Kevin WhiteWR Height: 6-3 Weight: 215 School: West Virginia Pre-draft Rank: 4
Two years ago, he was being recruited by the likes of Hawaii and Bowling Green. A year ago, he was a talented but unknown receiver heading into his final year of college with tons to prove. Now White looks like the second coming of Brandon Marshall - the man hefs essentially replacing - as a big, physical, nasty receiver who can fly by safeties or run them over. His likeable demeanor off the field belies his intensity on it.
8 (8) Atlanta Vic Beasley
Vic BeasleyOLB Height: 6-3 Weight: 246 School: Clemson Pre-draft Rank: 9
The Falcons picked up an explosive pass rusher in Beasley, who can immediately help a poor pass rush. First-year coach Dan Quinn, who comes from Seattle, will build his defense around this top edge player.
9 (9) NY Giants Ereck Flowers
Ereck FlowersOT Height: 6-6 Weight: 329 School: Miami (FL) Pre-draft Rank: 47
The Giants needed offensive line help and will get it with Flowers. He's a massive player who was a left tackle at Miami, but it seems like right tackle might be his best NFL fit.
10 (10) St. Louis Todd Gurley
Todd GurleyRB Height: 6-1 Weight: 222 School: Georgia Pre-draft Rank: 3
Gurley is one of the best running back prospects in many years, maybe since Adrian Peterson. Gurley, who is coming off ACL surgery, has size, speed and will be productive in the passing game too.
11 (11) Minnesota Trae Waynes
Trae WaynesCB Height: 6-0 Weight: 186 School: Michigan State Pre-draft Rank: 39
With Waynes, the Vikings now have a pair of long-armed press corners in Waynes and Xavier Rhodes to match up with the beastly wide receivers of the NFC North and offer flexibility to Mike Zimmer defensively. He can blitz with his potent front or play single-high safety and be creative underneath. Waynes might struggle a bit with the short stuff, but his recovery speed is rare, he can run stride for stride with fast wideouts and get physical with them, too.
12 (12) Cleveland Danny Shelton
Danny SheltonDT Height: 6-2 Weight: 339 School: Washington Pre-draft Rank: 32
The Browns were rumored to be looking to trade up, but they sit back and take a player who fits their defense in Shelton, a 335-pound penetrator. Hefs not your typical hold-the-fort nose tackle, displaying play-making ability as a senior not shown previously. Can he live in the backfield in Mike Pettinefs defense? Thatfs not clear. But at worst, he can be a stout, two-gap run defender who can brawl with AFC North centers. Shelton's weight has been an issue at times, but he moves well for his size and has shown he can handle a large volume of snaps.
13 (13) New Orleans Andrus Peat
Andrus PeatOT Height: 6-7 Weight: 313 School: Stanford Pre-draft Rank: 16
The Saints have undergone a huge overhaul offensively, and they make a surprise pick in Peat, who might be the most talented tackle in the draft if he can put it all together but occasionally will lull through some disappointing spells. But hefs long-winged, nasty, agile and nifty-footed. He can handle either left tackle or, more likely right away, right tackle to replace Zach Strief. Still, we expected a defensive player or a receiver here. Protecting Drew Brees in the twilight of his career apparently is the key behind this pick.
14 (14) Miami DeVante Parker
DeVante ParkerWR Height: 6-3 Weight: 209 School: Louisville Pre-draft Rank: 22
The Dolphins have opted to pick up QB Ryan Tannehillfs fifth-year option and give him everything he needs in terms of weapons to succeed. The underneath is covered with Jarvis Landry, the deep routes go to Kenny Stills, and roaming the intermediate will be new tight end Jordan Cameron and Parker, who is a bit raw still but has electric ability and can gain yards in chunks with time to develop.
15 (15) San Diego Melvin Gordon
Melvin GordonRB Height: 6-1 Weight: 215 School: Wisconsin Pre-draft Rank: 25
In the first trade of the 2015 NFL draft, the Chargers leapfrog the Texans, moving from pick No. 17 to 15 and giving up a 2015 fourth-rounder and a 2016 fifth-rounder to do so. The Chargers move up for Gordon to replace Ryan Mathews in the backfield. Gordon is an electric, run-to-space playmaker who has deficiencies in the pass game but might be the best home-run hitter in the draft. He fills a huge void and has shown he can handle a big load in college. (From 49ers)
16 (16) Houston Kevin Johnson
Kevin JohnsonCB Height: 6-0 Weight: 188 School: Wake Forest Pre-draft Rank: 31
The Texans nab the confident, clean, sticky Johnson, who might be the most underrated prospect in the draft. With a ton of experience in college, Johnson routinely matched up with opposing No. 1 receivers and often ran with them stride for stride. His energy is infectious on the field, and his confidence can help boost a secondary that might move on from Johnathan Joseph in a year. Johnson can be brought along as a nickel corner as a rookie.
17 (17) San Francisco Arik Armstead
Arik ArmsteadDT Height: 6-7 Weight: 292 School: Oregon Pre-draft Rank: 19
Armstead might be the most physically impressive prospect in the draft with his chiseled 6-7, 290-pound frame. But turn on the tape and you can go long stretches between big plays. His upside is undeniable, but Armstead has work to do to grow into what he could be. The 49ers are getting old up front and need fresh blood. This pick, after moving back two slots, has a boom-or-bust feel to it. (From Chargers)
18 (18) Kansas City Marcus Peters
Marcus PetersCB Height: 6-0 Weight: 197 School: Washington Pre-draft Rank: 38
Peters' talent isn't the question. Some significant red flags, including his dismissal from the Washington team last year, are. But if he has matured, he's a supremely talented playmaker who can help right away.
19 (19) Cleveland Cameron Erving
Cameron ErvingC Height: 6-5 Weight: 313 School: Florida State Pre-draft Rank: 27
Erving is the top center off the board, and deservedly so. What makes the pick a bit surprising is that the Browns locked up center Alex Mack to a five-year, $42 million contract before last season. Mack is coming off a broken leg and can opt out of his deal after this season. The Erving pick indicates this might be Mackfs last season in Cleveland. (From Bills)
20 (20) Philadelphia Nelson Agholor
Nelson AgholorWR Height: 6-0 Weight: 198 School: USC Pre-draft Rank: 43
Agholor is fast and shifty and fills an immediate need for the Eagles. Philadelphia has lost DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin the past two offseasons, so Agholor has a chance to play a lot right away in a high-octane offense.
21 (21) Cincinnati Cedric Ogbuehi
Cedric OgbuehiOT Height: 6-5 Weight: 306 School: Texas A&M Pre-draft Rank: 15
The Bengals roll the dice on a player who is coming off a subpar season and a torn ACL in his final college game that could leave him unavailable for some of the offseason and perhaps delay his healthy return to the field. He played left tackle, right tackle and right guard for the Aggies, who have produced a ton of NFL offensive line talent in recent years, but his struggles at left tackle last season raise questions about this pick. That said, youfd have to think the athletically gifted Ogbuehi is a long-term replacement for Andrew Whitworth, who turns 34 in December.
22 (22) Pittsburgh Alvin Dupree
Alvin DupreeOLB Height: 6-4 Weight: 269 School: Kentucky Pre-draft Rank: 24
Dupree is a very athletic outside linebacker who can fit any role the Steelers need him for. He ran a 4.56 40-yard dash and had a 42-inch vertical jump at 269 pounds.
23 (23) Denver Shane Ray
Shane RayDE Height: 6-3 Weight: 245 School: Missouri Pre-draft Rank: 33
Ray is a fantastic edge pass rusher. The problems are that he has a foot injury that reportedly might need surgery, and he was cited on marijuana possession this week, which brings his decision making into question. (From Lions)
24 (24) Arizona D.J. Humphries
D.J. HumphriesOT Height: 6-5 Weight: 307 School: Florida Pre-draft Rank: 44
Humphries isn't a huge tackle, but he's very light on his feet and should eventually settle in as a left tackle in the NFL. The Cardinals have done a good job building their line the past couple years.
25 (25) Carolina Shaq Thompson
Shaq ThompsonOLB Height: 6-0 Weight: 228 School: Washington Pre-draft Rank: 18
In a head-scratcher, the Panthers take a talented player - with GM Dave Gettleman clearly adhering stringently to his board, forgoing other needs - who doubles up with some of what Thomas Davis does now. Thompson is versatile but appears to be the gWillh linebacker of the future who can play against talented tight ends now and replace Davis (he of the three ACL tears) permanently down the line. Thompson also brings huge special-teams potential, which was a major area of need last season. Some have projected Thompson to safety, but he's said he's a linebacker.
26 (26) Baltimore Breshad Perriman
Breshad PerrimanWR Height: 6-2 Weight: 212 School: UCF Pre-draft Rank: 26
John Harbaugh said the Ravens were good at receiver. So did Joe Flacco. But adding Perriman adequately replaces the deep speed lost when Torrey Smith skipped town via free agency. Perriman scorched a sub-4.3 40-yard dash at his pro day and has an NFL physique. Too often, he was inconsistent, suffering from dropped passes in college, but he has a chance to be a huge weapon for Flacco on 9-routes. This was a need that was filled.
27 (27) Dallas Byron Jones
Byron JonesCB Height: 6-1 Weight: 199 School: Connecticut Pre-draft Rank: 74
With Mo Claiborne a bust to date, Brandon Carr likely to be a salary dump in 2016 and Orlando Scandrick - the Cowboysf best corner - currently asking for a new deal, this pick makes a ton of sense. Jonesf confidence and incredible athleticism are great traits, but he has looked his best in man-coverage situations. Asking him to reroute receivers and play with his eyes in the backfield might be an adjustment in the Cowboysf cover-2 scheme, but Jones has the skill to do it.
28 (28) Detroit Laken Tomlinson
Laken TomlinsonOG Height: 6-3 Weight: 323 School: Duke Pre-draft Rank: 67
Tomlinson, who says he wants to study medicine and who started for four years with the Blue Devils, looks like a Day 1 starter at left guard for the Lions opposite maybe the best guard in football in Larry Warford. Tomlinson is smart, tough and dependable and graded out as one of the best run-blocking linemen in college football last season. Trading down five spots with the Broncos also netted fifth-round picks this year and next, which was good value. (From Broncos)
29 (29) Indianapolis Phillip Dorsett
Phillip DorsettWR Height: 5-10 Weight: 185 School: Miami (FL) Pre-draft Rank: 55
The Colts continue stockpiling impressive offensive talent and former Hurricanes, as they add Dorsett, who was an underused blur in college. He can help take the top off of defenses with T.Y. Hilton to make up maybe the best deep WR duo in the league. Another toy for Andrew Luck to play with, Dorsett will nonetheless have a lot of talent at receiver to compete against with Hilton, Andre Johnson, Donte Moncrief and Duron Carter. Dorsett also has some special-teams value as a returner, but his results in college there were mixed.
30 (30) Green Bay Damarious Randall
Damarious RandallFS Height: 5-11 Weight: 196 School: Arizona State Pre-draft Rank: 94
A classic Ted Thompson out-of-left-field pick, Randall can fit in as a nickel defender right away c but isnft that Micah Hydefs role? The Packers did lose Tramon Williams to free agency, but most scouts donft project Randall as an outside corner. So that would mean the Packers took a safety two years in a row in the first round, and Randall and HaHa Clinton-Dix have some overlaps in their games. Randall also has ace return skills, too.
31 (31) New Orleans Stephone Anthony
Stephone AnthonyILB Height: 6-3 Weight: 243 School: Clemson Pre-draft Rank: 76
After addressing the offensive line with their first first-round pick, the Saints get some help on the other side of the ball with a physical tone setter inside that they have not had since Jonathan Vilma left town. Anthony is athletic, built with a strong base, can cover better than hefs given credit for and can run and make plays when hefs covered well up front. This is an interesting pick for a team that needs some new energy, and this is a player Rob Ryan likely signed off on during the scouting process. (From Seahawks)
32 (32) New England Malcom Brown
Malcom BrownDT Height: 6-2 Weight: 319 School: Texas Pre-draft Rank: 50
One of the best talents left on the board, Brown can help the Patriots defense either as a quick, penetrating nose tackle or as a 3-technique, the spot he played most often for the Longhorns. He made a living in the backfield as a junior and is an ascending player, but his skill set overlaps somewhat with 2014 first-round pick Dominique Easley, whose knee issues roundly derailed his rookie season. The Patriots will rely on front-four pressure more and less on great coverage in the back end with Darrelle Revis and Brandon Browner gone. Brown helps them do that. That's four straight defensive picks in the first round for the Patriots and Bill Belichick.
ROUND TWO
1 (33) NY Giants Landon Collins
Landon CollinsSS Height: 6-0 Weight: 228 School: Alabama Pre-draft Rank: 21
Collins was projected as a first-round pick by media outlets, but he's limited in coverage and is a better fit here, for the safety-needy Giants. (From Titans)
2 (34) Tampa Bay Donovan Smith
Donovan SmithOT Height: 6-6 Weight: 338 School: Penn State Pre-draft Rank: 83
A massive man with Pro Bowl potential, Smith's motor does not always run hot and there's some question if he has the pass-blocking prowess to make it.
3 (35) Oakland Mario Edwards Jr.
Mario Edwards Jr.DT Height: 6-3 Weight: 279 School: Florida State Pre-draft Rank: 92
Opposite Khalil Mack, the Raiders opt for a power end who can kick inside on passing downs, but his 2014 tape was sluggish and uninspiring. The talent is there, though, for the one-time top high-school prospect in the country.
4 (36) Jacksonville T.J. Yeldon
T.J. YeldonRB Height: 6-1 Weight: 226 School: Alabama Pre-draft Rank: 37
Gus Bradley continues building his Seattle South team by adding a one-dimensional, powerful, violent runner with a fumbling habit.
5 (37) NY Jets Devin Smith
Devin SmithWR Height: 6-0 Weight: 196 School: Ohio State Pre-draft Rank: 42
The excuses are running out for Geno Smith, who adds one of the best vertical threats in the game and far different-looking WR corps from last season. Devin Smith also could be an excellent gunner, adding special-teams value.
6 (38) Washington Preston Smith
Preston SmithDE Height: 6-5 Weight: 271 School: Mississippi State Pre-draft Rank: 13
The surprise is that they introduced Smith as a linebacker, which means he will play on his feet in the Redskins' 3-4 scheme. With a body frame that can take up to 290 pounds (he played in the 270s) this is a surprise, but moves very well for that size.
7 (39) Chicago Eddie Goldman
Eddie GoldmanDT Height: 6-4 Weight: 336 School: Florida State Pre-draft Rank: 70
The Bears strike gold in Round 2 with a massive nose tackle with great strength and movement skills, a perfect fit in Vic Fangio's defense and an instant upgrade over the current crop. They had only one nose (Jeremiah Ratliff) on the roster.
8 (40) Tennessee Dorial Green-Beckham
Dorial Green-BeckhamWR Height: 6-5 Weight: 237 School: Oklahoma Pre-draft Rank: 14
Fascinating target for Marcus Mariota to throw to. DGB is a top-10 talent but an immature young man who needs guidance. A fascinating mix. (From Giants)
9 (41) Carolina Devin Funchess
Devin FunchessTE Height: 6-4 Weight: 232 School: Michigan Pre-draft Rank: 41
For the second straight year, the Panthers take a big-framed target high in the draft, and they trade up here to do so. Funchess was maddeningly inconsistent - as Kelvin Benjamin was - in college but has rare skills to go up and get the ball. (From Rams)
10 (42) Atlanta Jalen Collins
Jalen CollinsCB Height: 6-1 Weight: 203 School: LSU Pre-draft Rank: 86
The Falcons stand pat and take the inexperienced (10 college starts), long-armed and super athletic Collins to add size to their secondary. He dropped a ton of interceptions in college but fits the Dan Quinn/Seattle Seahawks mold of corner.
11 (43) Houston Benardrick McKinney
Benardrick McKinneyILB Height: 6-4 Weight: 246 School: Mississippi State Pre-draft Rank: 45
The Texans move up eight spots for McKinney, a tone-setting thumper who should be a nice versatile player for Romeo Crennel. He's likely a Day 1 starter next to Brian Cushing, if he's healthy. (From Browns)
12 (44) New Orleans Hau'oli Kikaha
Hau'oli KikahaOLB Height: 6-2 Weight: 253 School: Washington Pre-draft Rank: 61
A slow-footed, high-motor, productive playmaker, Kikaha lived in opposing backfields the past two seasons after tearing his ACL in 2012. Scouts nicked him for his poor athletic testing numbers, but forget that: he passes the eye test on film.
13 (45) Minnesota Eric Kendricks
Eric KendricksILB Height: 6-0 Weight: 232 School: UCLA Pre-draft Rank: 7
Anthony Barr will be reunited with his college teammate in Kendricks, who likely endeared himself to Vikings coach Mike Zimmer with his relentless motor and sideline-to-sideline range. A fantastic pick who could vastly outplay his draft position.
14 (46) San Francisco Jaquiski Tartt
Jaquiski TarttSS Height: 6-1 Weight: 221 School: Samford Pre-draft Rank: 115
Since the end of the season, Tartt has bubbled up with a strong display of his competitive, athletic and power-hitting skills, so it's no surprise he'd go in this range. But are the 49ers good with what they have on offense?
15 (47) Philadelphia Eric Rowe
Eric RoweCB Height: 6-1 Weight: 205 School: Utah Pre-draft Rank: 40
The Eagles trade up five slots to nab a long-levered defensive back who is capable of playing safety (which he played his first three seasons) or corner (which he played as a senior). Scouts were mixed on him, citing his lack of play-making ability, but he runs well and can play press-man coverage. (From Dolphins)
16 (48) San Diego Denzel Perryman
Denzel PerrymanILB Height: 5-11 Weight: 236 School: Miami (FL) Pre-draft Rank: 125
The Chargers draft a sawed-off, old-school, two-down thumper inside who could replace Donald Butler and line up next to Manti Te'o. Perryman is a tone setter who can wake up a crowd with a huge hit.
17 (49) Kansas City Mitch Morse
Mitch MorseOG Height: 6-5 Weight: 305 School: Missouri Pre-draft Rank: 142
Morse played center and tackle in college but projects most easily inside, perhaps to guard. He's short-armed and not the most athletic interior player, but he has strength, grit and versatility.
18 (50) Buffalo Ronald Darby
Ronald DarbyCB Height: 5-11 Weight: 193 School: Florida State Pre-draft Rank: 88
Sans a first-round pick, the Bills wait and land a physical, fast, press corner and a heck of an explosive athlete despite size limitations. He can contribute immediately in an OK but not great Bills secondary.
19 (51) Cleveland Nate Orchard
Nate OrchardDE Height: 6-3 Weight: 250 School: Utah Pre-draft Rank: 121
A high-effort, long-armed rusher who can convert speed to power and is able to consistently live in the backfield despite elite speed and athletic traits. Just a good football player, and the Browns now have made three safe, solid picks. What a novel idea! (From Texans)
20 (52) Miami Jordan Phillips
Jordan PhillipsDT Height: 6-5 Weight: 329 School: Oklahoma Pre-draft Rank: 72
Trading back, the Dolphins get a massive, country-strong nose tackle who can play too upright but has the power and quick feet to dominate if he stays conditioned and focused. A complete opposite style of nose tackle from incumbent starter Earl Mitchell, an undersized plugger. (From Eagles)
21 (53) Cincinnati Jake Fisher
Jake FisherOT Height: 6-6 Weight: 306 School: Oregon Pre-draft Rank: 30
The Bengals take back-to-back tackles in Rounds 1 and 2, both athletically gifted players. Fisher was too flag-happy in his career but has elite feet and good toughness. He can be a right tackle, and a good one in time.
22 (54) Detroit Ameer Abdullah
Ameer AbdullahRB Height: 5-9 Weight: 205 School: Nebraska Pre-draft Rank: 34
Like Reggie Bush, Abdullah is a shifty slasher who does his best work in space, but he also is tough and strong. There are worries about his fumbling and how he might hold up physically over the course of a season.
23 (55) Baltimore Maxx Williams
Maxx WilliamsTE Height: 6-4 Weight: 249 School: Minnesota Pre-draft Rank: 28
The Ravens now have added two potentially great pass catchers to the mix in Rounds 1 and 2, with the 20-year-old Williams a Todd Heap clone. Williams needs time in the weight room and doesn't separate exceptionally well, but he's the best all-around tight end in the draft. A terrific value this late in Round 2. (From Cardinals)
24 (56) Pittsburgh Senquez Golson
Senquez GolsonCB Height: 5-9 Weight: 176 School: Mississippi Pre-draft Rank: 144
A lack of ideal size is the only real knock on Golson, who is a highly active, ball-hawking, tough and instinctive playmaker. The Steelers' defensive makeover is well underway with Bud Dupree and Golson.
25 (57) St. Louis
Rob Havenstein
OT Height: 6-6 Weight: 321 School: Wisconsin Pre-draft Rank: 149
A big, stiff, nasty mauler of a right tackle, Havenstein won't win any agility contests. He was among the slower testers at the combine in the movement drills - but immediately can come in and start as a road-grading escort for Todd Gurley. The Rams have gotten more powerful in this draft. (From Panthers)
26 (58) Arizona Markus Golden
Markus GoldenDE Height: 6-2 Weight: 260 School: Missouri Pre-draft Rank: 123
A spirited, smart, competitive wood chopper of a strong-side rusher, Golden is a perfect fit coming off the edge and chasing down runners from behind. He's a far better football player than a combine tester and was overshadowed at Mizzou by Shane Ray. (From Ravens)
27 (59) Denver Ty Sambrailo
Ty SambrailoOT Height: 6-6 Weight: 311 School: Colorado State Pre-draft Rank: 131
His versatility makes him interesting, but the local product Sambrailo is a soft, underdeveloped player with light feet but no clear-cut position. He's an enigma but has upside if he can get stronger. His future might be at guard.
28 (60) Dallas Randy Gregory
Randy GregoryOLB Height: 6-5 Weight: 235 School: Nebraska Pre-draft Rank: 8
Gregory is a fantastic pass rusher with top-10 talent. Off-field issues caused a severe drop in the draft. But Dallas gets a very talented edge rusher if he can stay focused.
29 (61) Tampa Bay
Alexander Marpet
C Height: 6-4 Weight: 307 School: Hobart College Pre-draft Rank: 65
Marpet comes from tiny Hobart College, but impressed at the Senior Bowl and combine, where he ran the 40 in less than five seconds. He played left tackle in college but could play guard or tackle in the NFL. (From Colts)
30 (62) Green Bay Quinten Rollins
Quinten RollinsCB Height: 5-11 Weight: 195 School: Miami (OH) Pre-draft Rank: 73
Rollins was a basketball player at Miami (Ohio), then played college football for the first time as a fifth-year senior and had seven interceptions. The point guard's 391 assists are fourth in school history.
31 (63) Seattle Frank Clark
Frank ClarkDE Height: 6-3 Weight: 271 School: Michigan Pre-draft Rank: 48
Clark is a talented end but comes with baggage. He was kicked off Michigan's team last November after he was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence. He eventually pled guilty to disorderly conduct.
32 (64) New England
Jordan Richards
SS Height: 5-11 Weight: 211 School: Stanford
Richards is a physical safety who is also versatile, and he should fit in well in the Patriots' defense.
ROUND THREE
1 (65) Indianapolis
D'Joun Smith
CB Height: 5-10 Weight: 187 School: Florida Atlantic
Smith is not a big corner but he's very fast and quick. It's easy to see him making an immediate contribution lining up against slot receivers. (From Bucs)
2 (66) Tennessee Jeremiah Poutasi
Jeremiah PoutasiOG Height: 6-5 Weight: 335 School: Utah Pre-draft Rank: 84
Poutasi is a huge, 335-pounder who played left tackle at Utah, but seems like a perfect fit at right tackle with the Titans.
3 (67) Jacksonville A.J. Cann
A.J. CannOG Height: 6-3 Weight: 313 School: South Carolina Pre-draft Rank: 66
SEC coaches routinely singled out Cann as one of the toughest interior linemen they faced. The very experienced, tough, surely built Cann is a textbook guard - athletically limited but a force in the run game. A safe, smart pick for a team seeking to build a foundation.
4 (68) Oakland Clive Walford
Clive WalfordTE Height: 6-4 Weight: 251 School: Miami (FL) Pre-draft Rank: 69
Good receiving ability and athleticism should make him a nice upgrade at a need position. Derek Carr now gets his second good receiving option in this draft, along with Amari Cooper. Walford is a poor blocker and did not impress teams with how he interviewed the past few months.
5 (69) Seattle Tyler Lockett
Tyler LockettWR Height: 5-10 Weight: 182 School: Kansas State Pre-draft Rank: 56
The Seahawks trade way up from the bottom of the round to land one of the quickest slot receivers in the draft. Lockett has exceptional college production, can wiggle away from tight coverage and has great return ability, too. (From Redskins)
6 (70) Houston Jaelen Strong
Jaelen StrongWR Height: 6-2 Weight: 217 School: Arizona State Pre-draft Rank: 82
High-point receiver with some nagging injury concerns but some good speed, great competitiveness and complementary skills to be a contributor. With the ball in the air, Strong can go get it, but he's not a burner. (From Jets)
7 (71) Chicago Hroniss Grasu
Hroniss GrasuC Height: 6-3 Weight: 297 School: Oregon Pre-draft Rank: 103
The Bears moved on from Roberto Garza and needed a replacement at center, where Grasu is undersized but smart, competitive, athletic and an efficient mover. He lined up next to Kyle Long for the Ducks and could do so as an early starter with the Bears, too.
8 (72) St. Louis
Jamon Brown
OT Height: 6-4 Weight: 323 School: Louisville
Another mauler for Jeff Fisher. Notice a trend the first three Rams picks? An emphasis on power and mass. They want to run the ball, run it with authority and Brown can be a good fit inside with his size, punch and strength.
9 (73) Atlanta Tevin Coleman
Tevin ColemanRB Height: 5-11 Weight: 206 School: Indiana Pre-draft Rank: 64
Nicknamed "Rock," Coleman is not shifty but has good speed, home-run potential and runs with good power inside or to the edge. He consistently cranked out incredible production on a weekly basis for the Hoosiers despite a brutal O-line, mostly bad QB play and Big Ten defenses stacked to stop him.
10 (74) NY Giants Owamagbe Odighizuwa
Owamagbe OdighizuwaDE Height: 6-3 Weight: 267 School: UCLA Pre-draft Rank: 17
Highly athletic rusher who can develop on a team that has cultivated rush talent well historically. He needs some growth as a player, but he's a rare horse.
11 (75) New Orleans Garrett Grayson
Garrett GraysonQB Height: 6-2 Weight: 213 School: Colorado State Pre-draft Rank: 160
Grayson can sit and learn behind Drew Brees, which should be great for his development. He's an athletic quarterback with an NFL arm, and has a chance to become a starter down the road.
12 (76) Kansas City Chris Conley
Chris ConleyWR Height: 6-2 Weight: 213 School: Georgia Pre-draft Rank: 112
Conley had an amazing workout at the NFL combine, and the Chiefs traded up to get him. He wasn't even honorable mention all-SEC but his 4.35-second 40-yard dash and 45-inch vertical leap obviously got Kansas City's attention. (From Vikings)
13 (77) Cleveland Duke Johnson
Duke JohnsonRB Height: 5-9 Weight: 207 School: Miami (FL) Pre-draft Rank: 63
Johnson is a high-energy inside and outside rusher who squeezes out every last yard and has more burst than he's given credit for. He'll push young RBs Terrence West and Isaiah Crowell and make an impact as a tough, competitive grinder with burst.
14 (78) New Orleans P.J. Williams
P.J. WilliamsCB Height: 6-0 Weight: 194 School: Florida State Pre-draft Rank: 85
Williams, from Florida State, has good size for a corner but has off-field issues. He was arrested in early April on suspicion of DUI but charges were recently dropped due to lack of evidence. (From Dolphins)
15 (79) San Francisco Eli Harold
Eli HaroldOLB Height: 6-3 Weight: 247 School: Virginia Pre-draft Rank: 60
Harold slipped a bit in the draft, but what the 49ers get is some depth for their depleted linebacking corps and a player who can be a quality pass rusher off the edge.
16 (80) Detroit Alex Carter
Alex CarterCB Height: 6-0 Weight: 196 School: Stanford Pre-draft Rank: 148
Carter is a big and athletic cornerback, but he could end up at safety in the pros. (From Vikings through Chiefs)
17 (81) Buffalo John Miller
John MillerOG Height: 6-2 Weight: 303 School: Louisville Pre-draft Rank: 58
Miller isn't a great athlete, but he is big and powerful. He could help the Bills, who have a need on the interior of the line, early in his career.
18 (82) NY Jets
Lorenzo Mauldin
OLB Height: 6-4 Weight: 259 School: Louisville Pre-draft Rank: 150
Overcoming adversity, Mauldin has made himself into a nice functional 3-4 stand-up rusher. He is a limited athlete but plays with an edge and can make plays in the backfield. (From Texans)
19 (83) San Diego Craig Mager
Craig MagerCB Height: 5-11 Weight: 201 School: Texas State Pre-draft Rank: 100
Amazing that the first player from a Texas college comes from the Bobcats, but Mager is not a reach here. He has nice size, good ball skills and great short-area burst to handle underneath routes. This is a very intriguing sleeper pick if he can overcome his short arms and lack of big-school experience.
20 (84) Philadelphia Jordan Hicks
Jordan HicksOLB Height: 6-1 Weight: 236 School: Texas Pre-draft Rank: 119
Just what the Eagles need, more inside linebackers. Hicks sprung up as a senior after a non-descript career to that point, and he's not considered a big thumper. But his coverage skills and competitive spirit are considered strengths.
21 (85) Cincinnati Tyler Kroft
Tyler KroftTE Height: 6-5 Weight: 246 School: Rutgers Pre-draft Rank: 114
With bad QB play, Kroft was not able to show just how good a receiver he can be. Despite a lack of explosive athleticism, Kroft has a nice frame, solid blocking ability and soft hands.
22 (86) Arizona David Johnson
David JohnsonRB Height: 6-1 Weight: 224 School: Northern Iowa Pre-draft Rank: 96
Bruce Arians was seeking a bigger-framed back, and Johnson fits the bill. He can run with power but also has exceptional receiving skills and might be a bit of a poor man's Matt Forte. This could be exceptional value here on Johnson.
23 (87) Pittsburgh Sammie Coates
Sammie CoatesWR Height: 6-1 Weight: 212 School: Auburn Pre-draft Rank: 62
The Steelers struck mid-round gold a year ago on Martavis Bryant, and Coates has a similar makeup with size, great vertical speed and some technical flaws that can be fixed. Coates needs to diversify his route tree, but he has upside.
24 (88) Minnesota Danielle Hunter
Danielle HunterDE Height: 6-5 Weight: 252 School: LSU Pre-draft Rank: 77
Mike Zimmer now has a raw, wiry, high-effort player with a high ceiling but concerns about his run-stopping ability. Some scouts also have questioned whether Hunter has great diagnostic skills on the field. (From Lions)
25 (89) St. Louis Sean Mannion
Sean MannionQB Height: 6-6 Weight: 229 School: Oregon State Pre-draft Rank: 203
The fourth QB off the board - who is not named Bryce Petty - is a heavy-footed pocket passer who, like Jameis Winston, played far better in 2013 than in 2014. Mannion has an odd delivery but functional arm strength and great intelligence, along with experience in a pro-style offense. (From Panthers)
26 (90) Baltimore Carl Davis
Carl DavisDT Height: 6-5 Weight: 320 School: Iowa Pre-draft Rank: 51
The Ravens love bulk in their D-linemen, and Davis has it, but he also has surprising quickness, explosion and rare strength. Does he always play with a hot motor? No, but if the Ravens staff can coax it out of him more consistently they could have a real find.
27 (91) Dallas
Chaz Green
OT Height: 6-5 Weight: 314 School: Florida
With several interesting running backs still on the board, the Cowboys instead pad their great O-line with depth. Green is big and versatile but hasn't stayed healthy. This feels like a reach.
28 (92) Denver Jeff Heuerman
Jeff HeuermanTE Height: 6-5 Weight: 254 School: Ohio State Pre-draft Rank: 113
If you go back and look at his 2013 tape, Heuerman looks like a great blocker with the potential to be a solid No. 2 receiving tight end. He has good strength and smarts but has had a hard time staying fully healthy.
29 (93) Indianapolis Henry Anderson
Henry AndersonDE Height: 6-6 Weight: 294 School: Stanford Pre-draft Rank: 12
A 5-technique who fits their scheme, Anderson is a long, high-effort, smart player with inflated sack stats that likely won't translate to the NFL.
30 (94) Green Bay
Ty Montgomery
WR Height: 6-0 Weight: 221 School: Stanford Pre-draft Rank: 175
Montgomery can do a lot of things pretty well, none very well. He has Randall Cobb-like versatility as a runner, receiver and returner, but Montgomery has nowhere near Cobb's explosion and just drops too many passes.
31 (95) Washington Matt Jones
Matt JonesRB Height: 6-2 Weight: 231 School: Florida Pre-draft Rank: 127
Jones runs with power and purpose and might be a contributor given his size and Jay Gruden's desire to have a power run game. Jones' creaky knees and inconsistent effort are worries. (From Seahawks)
32 (96) Cleveland Xavier Cooper
Xavier CooperDT Height: 6-3 Weight: 293 School: Washington State Pre-draft Rank: 71
An underclassman who bubbled up as the draft process developed, Cooper's penetration skills caught scouts' eyes. He has good strength but is still an unrefined talent. (From Patriots)
33 (97) New England
Geneo Grissom
DE Height: 6-3 Weight: 262 School: Oklahoma
A man without a home in college, Grissom has played every spot on the defensive line and even tight end and never looked dominant at any of them. But he flashed enough ability as a rusher and has strong athleticism and versatility.
34 (98) Kansas City Steven Nelson
Steven NelsonCB Height: 5-10 Weight: 187 School: Oregon State Pre-draft Rank: 89
A well-built cover corner who has started for four years and matched up with quality Pac-12 receivers effectively. Nelson might be short, but he's competitive and strong.
35 (99) Cincinnati Paul Dawson
Paul DawsonILB Height: 6-0 Weight: 235 School: TCU Pre-draft Rank: 29
Classic Bengals fit. Much like Vontaze Burfict coming out, Dawson is undisciplined and underathletic, but he plays with great instincts and might freelance for some coaches' liking. That said, all the guy does is make plays despite slow foot speed.
